AMOK - From the Malay "amuk", the term refers to an uncontrollable murderous rage, sometimes resulting in murder-suicide. Amok can be used to describe both the perpetrator of a murderous act and the act itself.
AMOK is my graduation short film, created with a team of nine over the course of one year at ESMA.
I was responsible for multiple aspects of the production, including panther grooming, modeling the skeleton and muscles for panther muscles simulation, texturing and lookdev (for the panther and some environment assets), some environment layout and dressing, lighting and compositing of several shots, as well as building the production pipeline and managing the overall production. This year has been full of learning and has been both exciting and rewarding.
